Join Job Shadowing Week 2026!

Job shadowing is your chance to observe and learn from a professional in your field for a day. Together with a host alumnus, you'll explore company work culture and gain insights into everyday work-related matters.

Who can apply?

• LUT Bachelor’s students (3rd year students and above)
• LUT Master’s students

Key dates:

• Application period: 19.1.–22.2.2026
• Job shadowing: 7.–17.4.2026 (full or partial day)
• preparation session (45 min) preliminary date: 19.03.2026 @12.00

What’s required?

• Attend one training session (45 min session which you can join remotely or on site)
• Job shadowing day
• Fill out a short feedback form

Important to know 

• The host company is not obliged to offer summer jobs or thesis topics, this experience could open doors to future opportunities. The learning outcome is totally worth it. 
• The applicant is expected to cover any travel expenses. 
• This opportunity is for all students (Finnish and international)
